a muse fun!
Hi all, how was your weekend??
Mine was really great!!! Fun, but busy. John's mom came over for a visit while John and Harold went to the Husky football game. It was fun, we hung out here for a while so I could finish scanning photos for her, watched a quick bit of football with my SIL Sally, and then headed to the mall for some shopping. We were girls while the men did boy things. Good times.
My in-laws are heading to France on Tuesday, and they will be visiting family friends, one who is an getting ready to write a book about...well, I don't know if I can tell you what it's about, but she is going to use some old family photos of her mother and John's grandmother when they were little girls. Ann (my MIL) has amazing photos of her mom and grandmother, a whole box full!! I spent some time this summer scanning them, and then finished up the project for her yesterday. The fun part is that she gets to have them all on a disc, and so do I!! Vintage family photos galore!!!!
One of our shopping excursions lead us to Pottery Barn, where I picked up some cute mini-Halloween crows!! I loved them so much, I had to use one on a project. The A Muse team has been making some adorable treat containers so I joined in the fun:
I filled mine up with buttons because I ate all the candy :P hahahaha
(I kind of think the ribbons are a little much, but I got carried away and couldn't stop;)
I can't believe today is the last day of September. Where does time go? I am excited for October, because I love Halloween, and then after that's over...oh boy...HOLIDAY DECORATING!!!! YIPPPPPEEEEEE!!!
So...in case you are wondering...the camera is here in all it's glory...but, I haven't had too much time to play with it yet because I have some projects that need to get finished up first. John and I did take it to the park on Friday and snapped a few rounds, and I took some today of John and Drake playing...but I still have soooooooo much to learn. I am trying to figure out how to widen the depth of feild in my shots while still maintaining all the light in my photos...and also working on snapping faster shots of the blur monster more commonly known as Drake.
Here's one from the park:)
He is such a cute little woof, don't you think? Don't you think he should get lots of hugs and kisses everyday? I do. He is such a good model.
Well, still have some projects to finish tonight, so I better skeedaddle!! Be back to chat real soon, so don't be a stranger!!

............ The ribbon "makes" it for me....
love the face of Drake.... great shot!
