love story- Making Memories
Hey, I forgot to post this yesterday- I had a guest spot on the Making Memories blog on the 21st- a layout using the new "Love Story" collection of papers and embellishments:
I have really loved the "themed" products that have come out lately, they are sophisticated, well designed, and smart; I especially like this collection from Making Memories. I love Valentine's Day- always has been one of the faves of the holidays- I think I am basically a holiday kind of gal- except I don't get too worked up for Easter...maybe when I have kids...anyway: I shared this story on the MM blog:
Valentine's Day holds a special place in my heart. It was the day my husband and I had our first "fight" as a couple. I went all out, sewed felt hearts on expensive wool socks, showered him in delicious candies, and made a special tribute present to commemorate our first few months of dating. He greeted me with, "I bought you a rose, it's in the fridge."
Thankfully our Valentine's Day celebrations have improved greatly since that first one, and I look forward to getting in the spirit a little more each year...
I just wanted to share that with you! Also, if you are expecting mail from me, either RAK's or projects or whatever, I will be getting them out in the mail on Saturday...I have to wrap up a few things tomorrow for the 25th, and then it's mail day:)

A priceless story and a FANTASTIC layout!

i LOVE that layout. I agree about MM's themed items. I tend to gravitate towards Making memories stuff for holidays.
