I title this one: The Struggle.
Scrapbooking/Crafts...they hate me right now. We are in a fight. I haven't had any kind of inspiration in so long. I know these things are cyclical, but it seems lately that I fight this fight more often than not. I've been having fun with the picture a day project, even when I feel like I don't have anything to take a picture of- but I can't bring myself to make any kind of page or layout with any of them.
I contemplate taking a very extended holiday on a regular basis- I am not ready to throw in the towel entirely, but I sure wish the Mojo Fairy would pay a visit soon. Realllllly soon.
But, I did promise you projects- so here is one or two that I haven't posted.
This was my one project for the Garden on the 15th...it's a lift of AshleyGG, who is awesome...but this lo took me foooorrreeeevvvveeeerrrrrr to do. Like hours, upon hours, upon hours. This, again is an indicator of the brain mush. I am happy with how it turned out, but I am not happy with the amount of time and emotional energy it sucked out of me.
On a much happier note, is this page I made for the Creativity Inc. website gallery- these are some of the AL products from Memory Trends- the Whirlygig papers and some of the Manhattan line (ie: owls...love the owls!). This page was fun and didn't take me 8 hours. The Mojo Fairy liked me that day. What I did to piss him off since then is beyond me?
I bet you've been missing this kind of honesty around here, haven't you. I can read your minds ;)
So that's it- I gotta get to bed, I am so tired...all this complaining takes a lot out of a girl:)
heh.heh.

Hi Jen,
The mojo fairy has been almost completely sucked out of me since the beginning of the year and I KNOW what it is. I have so much crappy stuff going on right now and more health problems. That's all it takes to me totally uncreative....it's all about mood with me. Hope you find yours soon but even if you don't I love your picture a day, wish you lived closer to TEACH me.
Hugs!
Julie

Buddy, what you create on your worst day is better than what I make on my best. Try not to think too much about it (easier said than done, right?)

I have been the same way for a while, but I can send you some free stuff from my shop if you're interested. Maybe it will help?

Don't worry; it will change very soon. Don't forget where we live, it's the end of February and look outside today. It's hard to feel the MOJO this time of year here. BUT my crocuses are blooming and the lawn is starting to grow again. We can make it, YES WE CAN.
