Chat + Happy CHA + Garden Pages
Today the CHA Show (Craft & Hobby Association Trade Show (open to members of the trade) ) begins in Chicago and soon we'll be seeing all kinds of fun sneak peeks of new craft products soon to be released- like this cute line from Making Memories called "FaLaLa!"
If you aren't at the show, like me and many of my scrapbooking friends, I hope you will join in on the fun all over the internet- Making Memories will be sharing images of their new products and giving away lots of prizes all weekend on their blog, and 2peas is hosting a "CHA in Spirit" chat all weekend as well.
I will be hosting a chat @ 10am PST (that's 12 noon CST) over on the CHA board at 2peas, I hope you will join in!!!
and there will be prizes...lots of prizes, so if you like crafting, chatting and getting free goodies, be there or be square!! :)
Aside from doing some pre-CHA work, I have been trying to enjoy the sunshine as much as humanly possible while the weather is good in Seattle. I made myself a "poor man's kayak" out of a paddle and an old windsurfing board and can't stop playing on it. We've put Drake on it- he's not such a good surf dog, he likes to stand up and walk over to me and claw my legs to death as he tips us over into the water. John's parent's dog Roxy is much better- she knows exactly how to balance, is happy to sit and lay down in the front and chew on her ball while we go for a cruise.
So that's what's new with me!
Just a quick update today to let you know about the chat- I hope you can make it!
(oops, almost forgot to share the Garden pages from the 15th)
ok- now I am done:)
have a great weekend!!!

I cannot express how inspiring you are... both in your designs and as a wonderful person in general- I totally need to make my own poor mans kayak. I've been looking into them forever, but way out of budget currently... and that looks like a good substitute for now!! :)

I don't know the whole kayak story, but I'm thinking you should cave and buy one :) My brother's girlfriend has one, and loves it. She let Olivia (my 12 year old) ride it (paddle it, whatever you call it, lol) and now she wants one! Great pages, too!
