Just thought I would post a quick update, say hi and stuff:)
The garage sale- HuGE SucCeSs!! I loved meeting so many fellow scrap/stamp addicts!! I thought for sure we had seen all the people we were going to see by 8:45am. But no, it was steady all day and we did really well thanks to my super shoppers!!
As for leftovers and future stuff: We decided to keep what we didn't "sell" and we'll have another garage sale in the spring. I will keep you posted when that day rolls around.
I haven't been online much in the past few weeks- honestly, since we moved my office back into an actual office- the other areas of my life have been 10,000x more productive. It was kind of a forced issue I think, since when we moved all my stuff out of the dining room, it left it a huge mess, then when the mess was cleaned up, we didn't have much of a dining room left, which means we had to deal with that next, and so and so on. When you live in less than 800 Sq. Feet, one little mess can seem like a tornado has ravaged the place- it can't be "outta sight, outta mind" because there isn't any place to hide it.
In the next few weeks, we should finally be finished with our entire house purge and redecoration project. I am so happy to have been able to bring home a few desperately needed items- like the coolest dining room table that I found over the weekend at Goodwill- so love it- and the price was CRAZY cheap!! John painted our dark grey bookshelves white, and we've had some failed experiments with pendant lighting. It's kept me totally consumed and busy and HAPPY!! Renting this house has been a lot of ups and downs- I finally feel, 5 years later, like we're actually making real progress at putting together a house I'm not embarrassed about. Yay! It's all about the small successes:)
I promise to share new pictures soon, once everything is finished- right now I am supposed to be putting the stuff back into the bookshelves, but they look so calm and peaceful in their emptiness, I don't want to clutter it back up!

Halloween is only a few short days away, and I am SO BUMMED that I haven't had the chance to do more to celebrate it this year. The house project has left everything in total upheaval- so I just haven't had any desire to do any holiday decorating- booooo. I guess I will have to make up for it during Christmas! I cannot WAIT to bust out my white tree that I got last year for $.25!!
Oh- someone was asking about hoop.dee.do's- We are hoping to have them back up in the shop at the end of next week! I will let you know as soon as they are ready.
And that, folks, is what's new with me! Not much fun crafty stuff, but lots of fun home improvement projects. Crafty will come in November I think:) and -I promise this sad, neglected blog will be back to pre-summer regular programming really soon- just gotta get the boxes out of my kitchen first- you know how it is! haha!!
